As well as the onsite hard drive and data destruction services we provide we also work very closely with Data Wreck Ltd one of the most respected data recovery companies in the UK.

We regularly send hard drives to Data Wreck Ltd for testing to ensure our machines are working correctly.

How Long Do I Have To Keep The Paperwork I Receive?

Current Environment Agency rules say you must keep it for 3 years from the time of the collection.

Your UK IT Recycling engineer will hand you your UK IT Recycling Ltd information pack containing everything required for the safe and legal disposal of your waste electrical equipment.

Included in your pack will be your Environment Agency paperwork as well all that is required for your 'Duty Of Care' and the 'Data Destruction Act'.

Will You Collect My Computers For Free?

In most cases the answer is YES if we are collecting enough equipment.

In some cases we are even able to carry out onsite hard drive destruction free of charge!

How Long Would I Typically Have To Wait For A Collection?

We always try to collect within 72 hours of your call or email. You just pick a time suitable to you and we will work around it. We can also collect outside office hours and at weekends should you need us to do so.

What Equipment Do You Take?

UK IT Recycling Ltd collect and recycle ALL waste electrical equipment from TVs to PCs and printers.

Our engineer will log each item onto his vehicle and then hand you your UK IT information pack.This pack includes all your Environment Agency paperwork as well as plenty of information on our company so you know exactly what happens to you waste electrical equipment once it leaves your place of work.

If we have carried out onsite data destruction on your hard drives or other magnetic media you will also be given your full data destruction certificate by the engineer before he takes your destroyed hard drives for recycling.
